EKWB releases two new EVGA water blocks

EK Water Blocks, premium liquid cooling gear gurus from Slovenia, have announced two new full-cover water blocks for EVGA's custom Geforce GTX 970 ACX (2.0) and the Geforce GTX 980 Classified graphics cards, the EK-FC970 GTX ACX and the EK-FC980 GTX Classy.

Both new EKWB EVGA water blocks are based on a full-cover water block design, which means that they actively cool the GPU, RAM as well as the VRM part of the graphics card, and also feature EK's unique central inlet split-flow cooling engine design which brings best possible cooling performance and work with reversed water flow and allows it to be used with liquid cooling system with weaker water pumps.

The base on both the EK-FC970 GTX ACX and the EK-FC980 GTX Classy is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of either quality POM Acetal or acrylic, depending on the version. It also comes with pre-installed screw-in brass standoffs.

Both new water blocks for EVGA GTX 970 ACX (2.0) and the EVGA GTX 980 Classified graphics cards have been added to EK Cooling Configurator and are available for purchase at the EK Webshop.

As noted, both the EK-FC970 GTX ACX and the EK-FC980 GTX Classy will be available in Nickel and Acetal+Nickel version priced at €129.95 and €128.95 for the EK-FC980 GTX Classy and €109.95 for both versions of the the EK-FC970 GTX ACX. EKWB will also offer an aesthetic retention backplate which also cools the backside of the circuit as a separate purchase and which will be available for both the the EK-FC970 GTX ACX and the EK-FC980 GTX Classy and in Black or Nickel versions.
