Microsoft presentation gives up on Edge

Installs Chrome instead

A Microsoft engineer carrying out a demo before assorted hacks had to abandon his Edge browser and install Chrome after his Vole-approved default browser froze.

If you watch the demonstration you can see the poor engineer who was showing how virtual machines work in the browser found his Edge browser freeze.

He quickly proceeded to download Google Chrome “Because, you know, sometimes reloading the page or restarting the browser does help, but you can't risk hitting the same error twice, right? "I love it when demos break," he said.

As a get out he says that Edge on these machines is locked down a little bit so that some things that don't work that well, he said.

“And no, we are not going to not make Google better", he added when unchecking the box to send usage statistics and crash reports to Google.

At least Microsoft saw the humour and posted the whole event on YouTube for everyone to see.
