The outfit issued a Field Advisory saying: @NSX for vSphere 6.2.3 release has been pulled from distribution.” If you're in the process of upgrading to 6.2.3, VMware urges you to stop and wait for a better version.

Apparently 6.2.3 “has an issue that can affect both new NSX customers as well as customers upgrading from previous versions of NSX”.

Apparently virtual machines would just disappear and there was no way of fixing the bug with a patch. The new advice says that there was also problem with distributed firewall rules and a network connectivity problem. Three big problems to fix means that is probably better to say that the release is better off deleted and forgotten about.

It might not be gone for long. VMWare releases new flavours at its VMworld conference in late August and NSX is expected to be given multi-cloud-connection tools so 6.2.3 was probably going to be replaced anyway.
