Tsar Putin spikes reviews for YotaPhone

He gets everywhere

Vladimir Putin's is trying make it look like the dual-screen YotaPhone is actually popular by spiking reviews.

According to the UK Guardian Putin’s anonymous building full of propaganda bloggers who are being paid tax-free, off the books normally churn out stories about how wonderful the Tsar is, how the Ukranians are a bunch of Nazis and how Malaysian airlines were mounting an air strike against Russian supporters.

However have now been turning their attention to promoting the YotaPhone.  To be fair the YotaPhone does look very nice, but we wonder if the loyalty programme is for the phone or Tsar Putin.

It has had good reviews, but the company has been clouded by ongoing mysteries about the phone's availability, reliability, and price.

Tsar Putin however wants it to look like Russia look like a place where cutting-edge technology is made rather than a country dominated by the Church,  with socially backward views on homosexuals, crippled by its Mafia and oligarchs, and desperate to distract its citizens with appeals to greatness.

Of course US reviewers are no better – they have been saying that Apple products are great and value for money, despite all evidence. The only difference is that they do it out of a misplaced loyalty to a corporate which offers them an identity they lack in real life.  The Russians get paid by Putin to write their stuff.
