Nvidia's 8800GT will remain one of the hottest cards on this year's wish lists and it doesn't look like Nvidia will manage to ship enough quantities before the big Christmas rush ends.

Sources close to company have said that they have sold every single one, that partners simply want more and the financial figures are great.

Nvidia’s partners are suffering from a shortage of G92 based cards on the market and many have complained that 8800GT painfully slowed the sales of 8800 Ultra and GTX cards.

Nvidia will have a great quarter, but we cannot say the same for their partners. Nvidia might even hurt its own sales with the fact that G92 is such a great card.
