Palit has announced the new addition to its 8500 GT lineup, branded 8500 GT Super+1GB.
Nothing has changed, beyond the fact that Palit has packed 1GB of GDDR2 memory on the card. It still features Palit's non-reference fan which, according to Palit, combines both the advantage and silence of a passive cooler and the advantage of thermal conductivity provided by a silent fan. The clocks of this card are not available but they will probably end up at reference numbers.
This might be the least expensive 1GB card that you will be able to purchase, but trying to run Crysis on it would probably make you weep.
