Black Friday sales go to Microsoft

While all of the number for Black Friday are not in quite yet, there appears that one thing will ring true. The Xbox One was the clear winner in Black Friday sales in North America. With an aggressive bundle deal that saw the Kinect-less console sold for as little as $329, it is no wonder that over half of the consoles sold in the US on Black Friday were Xbox One consoles.

According to infoscout.com, 53 per cent of the consoles sold on Black Friday were Xbox One consoles. The PlayStation 4 only accounted for 31 per cent of the Black Friday console sales. What is a little more interesting is that the Xbox 360 finished with 9 per cent of the Black Friday console sales, which was ahead of the Wii U which only managed 6 per cent of the Black Friday console sales. With the recent Wii U software releases, it was expected that the Wii U would have managed a bit more sales.

So far Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo have yet to announce their Black Friday sales numbers, but we expect them to do so soon.
