Assassin’s Creed Xbox One bundles confirmed

by on16 October 2014

For North America as well as Europe

We told you about the Assassin’s Creed Xbox One bundles that were coming to Europe for sure this holiday season yesterday. Now Microsoft has confirmed that North America will also be getting these two bundles as well.

Our Sources got most of it right, but there are a few extras that we didn’t get to tell you about. The big difference between the bundles is the included Kinect for Xbox One. There is a $100 difference between the two units which means if you are going to buy the Kinect for Xbox One at some point, you save $50 over buying it separately if you purchase it in this bundle, plus you also get a Digital Download code for Dance Central Spotlight.

Both bundles include, the Xbox One console with a 500GB hard drive in black, wireless Xbox One controller, wired Xbox One chat headset, one month of Xbox Live Gold, Digital Download code for Assassin’s Creed Unity, Digital Download code for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and the Special Edition Assassin’s Creed Unity packaging which really amounts to a nice box.

If you opt for the “with Kinect” bundle besides saving $50 over the purchase of the Kinect sensor separately, you also get: Kinect sensor for Xbox One in black to match the console, and Digital Download code for Dance Central Spotlight. So the “with Kinect” bundle does provide some extra value.

The cost for the Assassin’s Creed Unity Special Edition Xbox One console bundle is $399 without Kinect or $499 with Kinect in North America. In Europe the cost is £349.99 without Kinect or £399.99 with Kinect. The console will be on retailer shelves November 2nd and buyers can pre-load Unity so that it is playable on release day which is November 11th in North America. In Europe the bundle should be on retailer shelves on November 4th and can be pre-loaded right away so that it is playable on November 13th which is the release date for the game in Europe.
