Apple has three days to silence GT Advanced

Now we didn’t knife you ok?

Fruity cargo cult Apple has three days to silence a bankruptcy court from hearing information about its relationship with GT Advanced Technologies.

GT Advanced, which makes Sapphire Glass filed for bankruptcy after Apple pulled out of a deal with the company to make glass for its iPhone. US Judge Henry Boroff said GT Advanced should provide any reasonable information as part of the case, "except that in the event that any such information relates to the details of the debtors’ business relationship with Apple."

In such cases, the information must first be disclosed to Apple's lawyers at least three days beforehand, during which time the iPhone maker can ask to block such disclosure, Boroff wrote in the ruling.

Apple is almost certain to want to keep GT Advanced quiet on its business relationship. Not only is the company historically secretive, it also may not want to come out being the bad guy of the story.
