Project CARS gets Limited Edition version

Steel case, behind-the-scenes book & 5 cars

As we finally get closer to the actual release of Project CARS, publishing partner Bandai Namco has announced that the title will be offered in Limited Edition trim as well as the regular version.

The Limited Edition version will add a steel book case as well as a behind-the-scenes book that covers the making of the game, and five exclusive cars with special exclusive events for each car. The five exclusive cars include: McLaren F1, Sauber C9, BMW M1 Pro Car, Mercedes-AMG C-Class Coupe DTM, and the 1967 Ford Mk IV.

The Limited edition version will be offered for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC version of the game. In addition select retailers will be offering a Modified Car Pack and code good for an upcoming DLC pack that will include a “Limited-run custom machine” that will add the Pagani Zonda Clinque Roadster, Ariel Atom 3 Mugen, and the Ruf CTR3 SMS-R.

While the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC version will arrive before the end of the year, the Wii U version will arrive later at some point in 2015. Still no official release date has been announced, but it is on track to be released before the end of the year.
