EA confirms its E3 presser first

by on14 April 2014

Hard to say what might be in store

Electronic Arts has confirmed the date for its 2014 E3 press conference. The 2014 E3 press conference will be held at the Shrine Auditorium on Monday, June 9th, 2014 at 9am PST. With this news, it makes EA the first to confirm its E3 presser, but announcements are expected from the rest of the major players over the next couple of weeks.

As for what EA might be showing, it is hard to say beyond the usual suspects such as Madden NFL, NHL, UFC, Dragon Age, FIFA, and maybe a new Need for Speed title. We can hope to be treated to a more extended look at Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror’s Edge, and maybe if are lucky a new Mass Effect or Deadspace 4, but we suspect the other Star Wars title in development will at least make an appearance.

It is expected this year that EA will look to make a return to greatness with its core sports titles and the Ignite engine for the next generation systems and provide more information on the Star Wars titles it has in development. It would seem that EA should have a lot to show, but we will have to wait till June to find out.
