Complete 3D mobile game engine for free

Today at the 2013 Game Developers Conference, Havok announced and unveiled its new Project Anarchy, a complete end-to-end mobile 3D game production engine that will be free on many mobile platforms without any restrictions.

Project Anarchy will include Havok's Vision Engine and will have access to Havok's Physics, Animation and AI tools, already used in some impressive game titles like Skyrim, Assassin's Creed and others.

Ross O'Dwyer, Head of Developer Relations at Havok noted that Havok is impressed by what the AAA industry created with their technology so far and that they are delighted to be able to offer professional grade tools to mobile developers for free.

The free download that Havok plans to release this Spring will also include a broad range of game samples and tutorials. Havok also launched a dedicated www.projectanarchy.com site in order to promote and support developers by building an online community, encouraged to do free sharing and collaborative development of extensions and customizations.

You can register over at www.projectanarchy.com in case you are interested.
