Injustice gets confirmed date

Written by David Stellmack

360, PS3, & Wii U all in mid-April

Warner Bros has confirmed that the new Injustice: Gods Among Us will arrive on April 16th in North America, and on April 19th in Europe. In addition, the publisher has confirmed that the title will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.

Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios is developing this DC Super Hero fighter, and is said to offer a rich and deep all original story to go with the game. The game will be backed by a digital comic that will tell the story of the events that led up to the game.

The already announced collector’s edition is again confirmed for release only for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. Wii U owners are out of luck for this one, but at least they are getting the game. The Collector’s Edition will include a 23cm figure of Batman and Wonder Woman, an Injustice Comic Book, an exclusive steel book case for the game, and 3 DLC skins from the DC Comics’ New 52.
