Roadmap: Dual and Quad 45 nanometre support

Intel will show off a lot of motherboards based on P35 chipsets. To remind you this chipset supports upcoming 45 nanometre Yorkfield and Wolfdale processors and all the rest of Core 2 Duo or Pentium processors.

The only requirement is socket 775 and the chipset can either DDR 2 800 or DDR 3 1066 MHz.

It also support FSB 1333 MHz CPUs. The Northbridge is compatible with ICH9, ICH9R and ICH9DH Southbridges. There will be a lot of board announcements at Cebit but you should expect most of P35 boards to be available in April if not later.
